Ocean Bay Seafood House - Macapagal Seaside, Pasay City

"Dampa" is a go-to place where you can choose fresh seafood ingredients then bring them to a nearby restaurant and choose how you want it cooked.

The original Dampa was in Parañaque where locals craving for fresh seafood meals can buy raw seafood in Dampa wet market then have them cooked according to their their preference in the nearby restaurants. The seafood from Dampa is fresh as they are sourced from a nearby fishing port in Bulungan.

Parañaque's Dampa has been closed for years since the renovation of the place. Macapagal Seaside in Pasay city the new place to be to satisfy your seafood cravings when in Manila.

There are so many restaurants to choose from in Macapagal Seaside. Not sure where to have your seafood cooked? Ocean Bay seafood house is our favorite.

The restaurant is air-conditioned with 2 private rooms available for greater privacy for large groups.

Our all-time favorite is their chili crab but this time we tried their salted egg crabs. I still prefer the chili crabs over the salted egg crabs.

Another all time favorite is the shrimp tempura, buttered tanigue and baked tahong (mussels). As expected, their cooking does not disappoint!

For healthier dishes, we had lapu-lapu sinigang (fish in tamarind soup base) and lato (seaweed) salad.

We also requested for a grilled squid but it turned out too spicy for us. You can request to put less chillies in your grilled squid.
